"Before physical therapy, it was very difficult and painful to walk and walk upstairs. After several weeks of physical therapy with Jack, I am happy to say I am pain free and can walk stairs without pain. Jack was very professional and detail oriented. "

"I went to this place for physical therapy after my accident. And Maggie who was wonderful my first day there amd for the months I was there was able get my my appointments and jack who my therapist was awsome I can in there with 45 % of my back pain and after months of therepy I left better then ever 99 % i felt i was 25 again....Maggy and Jack actually make the place feel like home with them being there I would not go back ..and the owner AL was alos helpful with my progress he also worked with me ..I recommend this physical therapy to all my friends and as long as Maggy and Jack and AL are ther I would come back hopefully no more car accidents..in the future. .So thanks to this staff for my fast recovery..Joey"

"I would like to say that function first is one of the best PT places I have ever have experienced . The care and the amount of attention they give their patients, are far surpassed of an average place . The detail of care that I have received from Jack , and Al has been very helpful to my needs . And the empathy , and compassion that they have for their patients to heal is very genuine . Maggie the office manager is very organized , and detailed to the patient’s personal needs .. as well as getting more visits needed from the insurance companies without any stress I must say Maggie is always pleasant and upbeat to the patients and is always generally concerned about their prognosis and how they are feeling . The atmosphere is very positive as well as healing and I would recommend this place to anyone . Function first is a great place for therapy!!"

"My husband Carmen attended physical therapy at Function 1st and he worked with Al and he said it was a wonderful experience. Al knows how to treat patients well, makes them feel at home and as a result my husband shoulder is much better. The staff at Function 1st is outstanding. Maggie the lady at the front desk is amazing. She treats the patients like family and makes the experience worth it. Carmen would recommend Function 1st to anyone that needs physical therapy."

"If you're in need of physical therapy please do yourself a favor and use Function 1st. From my very first visit it was easy to see how passionate Al, Jack, and Maggie are about their clients health. Any question or concern you have is answered and carefully explained to you. I've used a few different places for my injury before Function 1st was recommended to me and they're hands down the best you're going to find. You're going to get the same attention, care and effort working with either Al or Jack. Scheduling is very easy thanks to Maggie and there were no issues with any of my visits when it came to rescheduling if the need arises. Nothing else to say, use Function 1st if you want to properly recover and get back to your normal life."

"The best part about this place is they just care about you getting better. I've been for my bulging disc and only needed half the sessions my orthopedic recommended. Was there again for a shoulder impingement and needed all the sessions recommended. Jack is very good at understanding what you need to get back to normal. I would highly recommend."

"Jack and Al are extremely knowledgeable therapists. I have been coming here after a car accident and Jack has been improving the way I feel while also thoroughly explaining what is happening in my body and giving me peace of mind. Everyone at the office is energetic and welcoming. Maggie, the secretary is great at what she does and always finds a way to accommodate appointments."

"Great experience at Function 1st Physical Therapy. Setting my intro appointment and sessions was easy thanks to the help of Maggie and Al. The office space is nice and also local in my area. "I've been to many places for therapy, nothing compares to function first! They are all extremely knowledgable for your specific condition! I had 2 compression fractures of my thoracic spine, specifically T7 and T8 and when I walked in I was in extreme pain and just a complete mess! I left after 2 months of therapy feeling pretty good! Al and Jack were my therapists and they are as good as it gets!! The entire staff is so friendly and they really care about your condition. I came in not knowing anyone and felt as if I left with a few more friends! Thank you function first!!!!!"

"Started going here 6 weeks the place is clean and the people very nice, friendly and professional. Jack who is my therapist has worked with me since my surgery and after being in chronic pain for years has really worked on getting me mobile and help me to use muscles that have not been used in years due to chronic neck and back pain. Highly recommend them"

"My therapy and therapist AL are beyond approach. The detail that AL puts into my sessions have been amazing and have made an immensel impact on my lymphedema swelling in my legs. "Although this was my first time going through Function 1st for treatment, it was not my first round of going to PT for low back pain. It's finally better much than it's been in years and I have new tricks to keep it that way. Jack and Maggie were great and accommodating to my schedule. Definitely recommend!"

"Few months back I was diagnosed with a lumbar disc issue and my pain was unbearable. I found 1st Physical through Google and I'm grateful I did. The place is well equipped and clean. My trainer, Jack was amazing. He did not give up on me even though it took much longer for me to get to a good point in my recovery due to the sevirity of my issue. Jack really worked hard on me. Maggie was very helpful and patient with my rescheduling requests, and diligently pursued clearances with my insurance. Thank you 1st Physical."

"After suffering a traumatic neck injury, I wasn’t sure I would have much head rotation after concluding therapy at a prestigious rehab hospital. I was told there was nothing more they could do for me. It felt like a hopeless situation. Then I started PT at Function 1st. A night and day experience compared to the rehab hospital. Function 1st staff is outstanding. They listened to me then created a treatment plan with realistic goals to improve my head rotation and pain flare ups. They also gave me great tools so I can progress at home. I have achieved goals that I thought were not possible. I can function so much better in my day-to-day life. Thanks go out to Al, Jack, and Maggie. Highly recommend Function 1st."

"Dealing with knee pain for many years I said enough!!! After a couple of PT sessions at Function 1st, I could not be more excited about my progress and flexibility improvement. My daughter (@age 20) started working with AL at Function 1st after issues with her spine from golfing. Al worked miracles with my daughter and he is doing the same for me!!! "Grateful for the all the attention I received from Al (my physical therapist) and Maggie (receptionist). Al takes your recovery very serious and his attention to detail helped me recover from a torn Petella tendon. I was back at work 5 months post op. Highly recommend them due to the fact you will get personalized therapy to your unique injury and body type. Everyone heals different and Function 1st takes that into consideration. "11/6/2020 This place is great!! I just can't say enough to about them. I feel better than I did before the accident and for the first time in years I am waking up with no back pain. The Owner and therapist Al is wonderful, very personable and his massage technique was extremely helpful. My therapist Mike really knows his stuff and took the extra time needed to come up with the best rehab plan for me. Maggie the receptionist is very helpful. Also the deep tissue laser therapy is the best thing since sliced bread. The pain relief was noticeable from the first session and the pain I have had in my arm for more than 5 years is now completely gone after 5 sessions. If you need PT, this is the place to go !!"

"Great expertise and customer service. I was always treated like a friend. Al pushed me when I needed to be pushed so that I could get back on the ice. He also helped me modify my diet and get into a lot better shape even though I was there to rehab a high ankle sprain. He kept me accountable. The rest of the staff is very personable and very helpful. I'm very thankful I found Function 1st."

The physical therapist and owner, Al Flores, is very friendly and knowledge. Facility is nice and clean, and the prices are very reasonable. They also offer full body massages which are very relaxing.
